Happy holidays!
Here in Tucson, we are pretty lucky to have the weather that we do, but the fluctuation in temps can still give us issues with our vehicles. Here in the next day or so, we are supposed to see at least a 20 degree drop in temperatures. Who knows what the Christmas holiday will be like.
If you will be traveling for the holidays, there are a few things you should do before you get on the road, especially if you are traveling a long distance. Fuel is the easy part, but there are other areas you need to check, too. Make sure you check your oil and transmission fluids. You should also check the pressure in all of your tires, including your spare. The last thing you need is to get a flat tire only to find out that your spare is in the same shape.
Most important is to be aware. The holidays are hectic, and even more so if you are traveling. Be courteous. It’s the holiday, and we are all in a mad rush to get through it. Remember the same is likely true for the other drivers on the road. Also, please don’t drink and drive.
We will not be operating on Christmas day as we spend time together as a family, but we will be fully operational up to and after. We wish everyone a safe and happy holiday season!
