This weekend is lining up to be one of the hottest in a decade or so. With that and the approaching Father’s Day in mind, now is a good time to do a thorough inspection of your vehicles, especially if you plan on leaving the cool comfort of your home this weekend.
You want to check your tire pressure, your fluid levels, air filter, and your refrigerant levels. The heat will affect all of these things, and to avoid unnecessary costs or being stuck on the side of the road, you want to make sure you are safe before you leave your home. Of course, we are glad to help if you are in need, but preventative measures are much more cost effective.
If you are not mechanically inclined, many service shops offer to check these things for a small fee. If you can devote a little time to research, or have a shop you trust, you’ll be able to take your vehicle to a place that will give you honest service.
