What a Year!

As we have worked our way through the challenges that 2023 has presented, we’ve also had opportunities to learn new things. This year, we got the chance to learn about towing electric vehicles. It’s amazing how different each electric vehicle is. We were given the opportunity to move three different Tesla cars, each one was different from the one before. The last one, just a few days ago, was a 2011 Tesla Roadster. It was an amazing experience. There were only just over 2400 made, and as time moves forward, they are becoming collector pieces as Tesla’s first product. A rare ride! During the trip from Tucson to Tempe, the car drew plenty of attention from other drivers on I10.

We have moved plenty of combustible cars and trucks this year, too. Our favorites will always be the early and mid-1900s. They just don’t make things like they used to. Not all of these were moved this year, but they are classics we enjoy working with, and they are beauties.

We also had our usual “odd” piece to move. These are always fun due to the reaction of the community. In the past we’ve had a stagecoach and a large shell sculpture. This year it was…

Not as unique as the stagecoach or sculpture, but still not something you see on the back of a tow truck in Tucson every day.

We know that this year has been tough, but we are so grateful to the Tucson community for keeping us busy and allowing us the opportunity to work with some of your most valued possessions. It is a service we take seriously and we are truly honored to be a part of the community.
